Ok, I'm really out of the loop re: anime. What's new and recent and awesome? I'm gonna have alot of bored time between finals and summer school starting/moving, so I feel like I should give some stuff a shot.

I prefer stuff that actually ENDS at some point, vs. Bleach and Naruto going on and on and on AND ON AND ON etc.

Other than that, I'm pretty open.

I've heard very positive things about Gurren Lagann (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tengen_Toppa_Gurren_Lagann), Lucky Star, and Haruhi, though I've never seen them myself. There's also D. Greyman but I think that's one of the ones that won't ever end. I know for sure that all the other ones end after, like, one season or they're getting ready to do a second.

HOLY SHIT MOST AWESOME THING SINCE, SINCE... uh, since the last awesome artsy thing, which was probably Mononoke. It's only gonna be 12 episodes, I think.

Also Amatsuki is looking pretty badass and full of gay and OT3ness. No idea how long it will be, though.

Ghost Hound from last season just finished getting subbed recently, and if you like trippy sci-fi/supernatural mixes somewhat in the vein of Lain (but a little more comprehensible than Lain, it should be said, and with more emphasis on the supernatural aspect) featuring really adorable high school boys, it's pretty fun!

You've probably heard of Code Geass I'm guessing? It's not exactly good per se, but Lulu's batshit fabulousness is vastly entertaining.
