EMPLOYMENT!
Both the places I applied to most recently called back today! I missed the second one because I was in a movie (The Breakup. I was there for someone else DON'T JUDGE ME) so I still need to call back about it.
Job #1 is general office gopher, shredding papers, typing, running errands, that kind of thing. When the lady called me about it, it sounded like I pretty much had it in the bag - she said "make arrangements" not "interview" sooo... I was like "FANTASTIC!" It only gives me 10 hours a week, according to the listing though.
Job #2 is daty entry for somebody in the Biology department. So instead of having a variety of tasks, I just sit in front of a computer for a bunch of hours. Not that I don't do that anyway. In the voicemail the guy left he said he wanted to have an interview and a data entry test. This one would give me 20-40 hours a week (I could probably only do 20 or so though because of summer school)
Both pay 6 bucks an hour.
I have an appointment (i guess?) with Job #1 for 2pm tomorrow. So! What I'm wondering is, what the best way to deal with choosing between them is? What I'm thinking of doing is calling Job #2 tomorrow to arrange the interview and entry test and of course keep the 2 pm meeting for Job #1. But with Job #1 if I *do* just have it in the bag do I tell them I still have another option to look into? I'm not sure!
Help me out guys! (Lookin' at you Krysia)
Oh, and what exactly is a data entry test anyway? How fast you can type and use the number pad?
