there's no Doctor Who today because of Eurovision or whatever huh?

drat.

Not much to report on, lifewise. Kaitlin won't be home until Monday and Manda's in Carlsbad, so I'll probably be hanging out at Vanessa's house alot this weekend (as I have already been doing most of this week) because man being alone at the house for that long of a period is maddening, exacerbated by my preexisting anxiety nag nag nag nag nag nag nag nagging. Which isn't so bad today, thank goodness. Yesterday and the day before were pretty awful for me, especially in the morning. Two very Roast Beef days ("Oh god, it's today.") in a row sucks alot.

I made an appointment to see a counselor person on campus, but it's not till tuesday because of memorial day. We'll see who wins, my annoyance with my disporportionately affected state of mind or my history of distaste for the whole couseling thing as a whole. Makes me feel like a hypocrite in a way cuz I bugged the crap out of my dad to go to therapy but I really don't like it, myself. Shrug. On the other hand, I've seen how well it's been working out for my dad recently, so it probably is something I should take into consideration. Plus, last time I went to the counselor's office I had a very clear idea of why I was feeling the way I was and why it was wrong, whereas this time I'm actually not understanding why my brain is doing what it's doing, because as I've talked about before, the triggering incident and my reaction are completely disproportionate so there must be something else out of whack that I can't identify.

ENOUGH ABOUT THAT THOUGH.

I saw Indiana Jones on Thursday. Spoilers ) It was definitely worth seeing but doesn't beat out any of the original three (not that I expected it would or anything). Sex and the City comes out next week, and thus continues my weekly string of summer movies. Haha Kim Catrall was in Star Trek VI. I kind of feel like watching the rest of the Star Trek movies. I don't know why. Lawl.

I'm also addicted to Rifftrax. We watched the one of Cloverfield yesterday and I felt vindicated because somebody else other than me and Kaitlin hated it <3 We watched The Host after that, since it does the whole "monster attacks humans" thing alot better. It was more engaging for me because the characters were more interesting. They also had family members rescuing the youngest member of the family rather than I'm gonna go save this girl I totally love even though she showed up at my going away party with some other dude and our relationship is probably totally doomed. lol cynicism.

GOD THE CAT JUST CLAWED THE SHIT OUT OF MY THIGHHHHHH; AW;EHFHWFHAEJF

;___;

I need to clip her claws but I can't find the clippers and I'm paranoid that they're not sharp enough but I don't really know anything about cat grooming so I could be (probably am) full of crap.

I also bought the new Mr. Scruff single and some set of Jazz remixes of a similar style which is pretty awesome.

aaaand that's how exciting my life is right now. Hoorah.
