Fuuuuuuuuuuuuck

Just realized our Mythology midterm is the 10th. Which is.... a week from today. Fuuuxxxxx

Haven't even picked a hero.

It wouldn't be AS big of a deal if it were just writing a 3-5 page paper. but. She says we're to prepare it but the actual writing will be done in class that day? That's only an hour and a quarter to crank it out. I guess it'd be handwritten but ... that's CRUEL imho!

Ugh. I'm thinking of doing Electra or Antigone? I don't know. I don't want to just do Perseus, Odysseus or whatever cuz that's dull. But then again, it'd be easier to find stuff. UGHHGA;HS;LDGHASDF. Minor panic going on. The writing it on the spot thing is what worries me! I want to just write it and turn it in because otherwise it'll be a right MESS! Fua;lskdhf

hate.

I was hoping to like this class alot more than I actually do.

EDIT: maybe I could do Theseus. At least there's the minotaur and Ariadne who interests me for... extremely nerdy reasons.

shrug.

Screwwwwwwwwwwwwww this class!

I say go with Theseus. There's a fair amount of information around about him and he's pretty great. Also I know you don't have a lot of time but if you can (and haven't already done so) I'd recommend reading The King Must Die by Mary Renault. it's a great retelling of Theseus' life from childhood through his return to Athens from Crete.

Does it have to be a "hero" per se, or just a mythological character/event?

You could do Leda and the Swan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leda_and_the_Swan).
